Why These Investors Bet on Wildfire Systems

When a company attracts a wide-ranging and diverse group of investors, it often signals strong market potential and a compelling vision. Over the years, Wildfire Systems has received investment from some of the most respected venture capital firms in fintech, banking, and technology.

From our seed investors, to our Series A round, and all the way to the participants in our Series B round, each of our investors brings a unique perspective on why Wildfire’s white-label loyalty and rewards platform stands out.

In this post, we wanted to summarize the key themes and viewpoints from our investors’ "Why We Invested" articles, with links to their full posts.

Owning the "Starting Point" for Commerce and Evolving Loyalty

Several investors recognized Wildfire's potential to transform the shopping journey by positioning itself as the "starting point" for commerce. Just as search engines and web browsers once competed to be the first touchpoint for online shoppers, commerce platforms now strive to influence purchasing decisions from the outset. Laura Bock from QED Investors states that Wildfire enables financial institutions to embed cashback rewards directly into consumers’ everyday shopping, increasing engagement, loyalty, and revenue beyond interchange fees. She further stated, "The company who controls the start of the buyer journey can influence what people buy, where they buy from and how they pay.”

TTV Capital also emphasized Wildfire’s role in the evolution of loyalty programs, modernizing and improving on credit card rewards by integrating shopping rewards seamlessly into the customer’s shopping experience. Neil Kapur from TTV Capital notes that by integrating rewards directly into the shopping journey, Wildfire’s technology enables clients to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Addressing Consumer and Business Needs

Investors saw Wildfire as a solution to rising consumer demand for money-saving tools and brands' struggle to capture consumer attention online. Intuit Ventures recognized Wildfire’s ability to address two industry challenges: rising consumer demand for money-saving tools in a high-price environment, and brands' struggle to capture consumer attention online.

Selina Troesch from Intuit Ventures mentions that Wildfire’s platform lets clients offer seamless rewards, helping users earn cashback effortlessly while strengthening brand loyalty. Troesch saw Wildfire's infrastructure as a way for companies to provide financial benefits to customers without having to build thousands of direct merchant relationships themselves.

Improving E-Commerce Conversion Rates

Wildfire's ability to improve e-commerce conversion rates was a key investment driver cited by Samsung Next. Carlos Castellanos at Samsung Next notes that financial institutions, digital wallets, and merchants can leverage Wildfire to drive stronger customer retention and higher transaction volumes and saw Wildfire as a scalable way to drive loyalty while enhancing the economics of digital commerce.

According to Castellanos, as e-commerce conversion rates remain low (with only 2-3% of consumer interest turning into actual purchases), Wildfire helps to solve that. Castellanos also called out that Wildfire is redefining how consumers and businesses connect through rewards and e-commerce, seamlessly operating across both desktop and mobile platforms, offering a truly comprehensive, frictionless solution.

Strong Leadership and Adaptability

Investors like Moonshots Capital emphasized confidence in Wildfire’s leadership team, particularly CEO Jordan Glazier. Kelly Perdew from Moonshots Capital highlighted how the company under Jordan’s leadership has continuously adapted to market needs and built partnerships with major brands such as RBC, Citi, and Microsoft. Moonshots’ investment underscores confidence in both Wildfire’s business model and its leadership team’s ability to deliver long-term value. Perdew also states that supporting Wildfire Founder & CEO, Jordan Glazier, was a no-brainer.

The common thread across all these investor viewpoints is that Wildfire’s ability to embed rewards and benefits into the natural shopping experience creates value for consumers, financial institutions, and merchants alike. Whether it’s owning the starting point for commerce, modernizing loyalty, or improving conversion rates, we’re excited to see such a diverse range of A-player investors recognizing the potential for Wildfire to drive the future of shopping rewards and loyalty.
